7.3 DISPLAY STORAGE RAM INTERFACE

7.3.1 Introduction

The Display RAM (TDSRAM) is used to hold the

OSD data for display.

It can be shared by the following units:

– Display Unit (DIS). This OSD generator is de-

scribed in a separate chapter.

– CPU accesses for control.

The necessary time slots are provided to each unit

for realtime response.

FEATURES:

Memory mapped in CPU Memory Space

Direct CPU access without significant slowdown
