1. General Description & Function:
️· IC Type: Boost converter (step-up converter)
️· Architecture: Dual PWM/PFM architecture - offers the spectral predictability of PWM for noise-sensitive applications and high efficiency in standby modes (using PFM).
️· Versions: Available in two versions:
- ILC6382-XX: Fixed output voltage.
- ILC6382-ADJ: Adjustable output voltage (using an external resistor divider).
2. Key Features and Functionality:
️· External Frequency Synchronization: Allows external clock to control the internal oscillator (150kHz - 500kHz).
️· Low Battery Detector (LBD):
- Monitors battery voltage.
- Open-drain output.
- Built-in delay (120ms) to prevent false triggering from transient voltage spikes.
- Can be configured to monitor voltages both above and below 1.25V using external circuitry.
